19/05/2006I was banging my head against the wall the other day trying to work out why setting a TD or TR style (CSS) element visibility:none was not collapsing the TD or TR. Turned out I had a “Stick Error”, that’s not even the “wrong end” of the right stick but an entirely incorrect stick altogether. Ok, enough of the humour! To collapse a Table Cell (TD) or Table Row (TR) using styles use display:none , it both hides and collapses the TD or TR.
